NepaliCount.com is a dynamic data generation social networking portal that will facilitate the count of Nepali people in the United States as well as in the rest of the world. Our goal is to encourage the Nepalese community as a whole, and Nepalese individuals in particular, to play a significant role in promoting the importance and value of the 2010 census count in the United States and counting Nepalese in other countries.

NepaliCount.com is not associated with any government census bureau or survey department. NepaliCount.com may endorse any government’s community, public initiative that is important to the Nepalese community.
NepaliCount.com is owned and developed by US Nepal Media Center (USNMC), a State of New Jersey, USA-based not-for-profit media corporation. USNMC is solely responsible for its operation, expense and any legal liability.
Data Monitoring & Portal Promotion Committee (DMPPC)
NepaliCount.com will be promoted and run by an autonomous Data Monitoring & Portal Promotion Committee (DMPPC) consisting of members of US Nepal Media Center (www.USNepalOnline.com), co-sponsors and representatives from countries where the major Nepalese diaspora populations are concentrated. DMPPC, Role & Responsibility of the Board Members
DMPPC is an autonomous honorary and pro bono promotion and data monitoring board consisting of members of US Nepal Media Center (www.USNepalOnline.com), co-sponsors and representatives from countries where the major Nepalese diaspora populations are concentrated.
The Board Members will have responsibility to promote NepaliCount.com’s goal to encourage and engage the Nepalese community as a whole, and Nepalese individuals in particular, to play a significant role in promoting the importance and value of the 2010 census count in the United States and counting Nepalese in other countries.
The Board Members will have user data i.e. Name, Country, State, District, City, Village available online to analyze. The United States and other international cyber laws prevent USNMC to distribute or disclose user data protected by these laws i.e. email, IP address but USNMC will share if the user usage detail is vital to improve NepaliCount.com’s outreach to the areas where the counting is not effective.
The Board Members have no term-limit and they are not bound to any legal liability of NepaliCount.com if it gets into dispute for any reason. But if a member of the board misuses his/her honorary status USNMC will relieve him/her from the honorary post of Board of Director, Guest Editor or Board of Advisor with immediate effect.
Upon accepting to be on the honorary board you also agree that this signifies your intention to participate in the “Be Counted” campaign and promote its cause but does not create any binding relationship or obligations between you and NepaliCount.com, and you hold harmless NepaliCount.com for any liabilities incurred to you in relation to the appointment except in the case of NepaliCount.com’s negligence. Affiliation
We will enlist all Nepalese organizations from each country to be affiliating members of NepaliCount.com. Each organization name will be listed alphabetically under the “Nepalese Organizations” link at NepaliCount.com.
Media Partners
We will encourage the Nepalese media (online, print, broadcast) in each country to be our media partners in effecting promotion of this project. The names will be listed alphabetically under the “Media Partners” link at NepaliCount.com.
